Marc Simons is one of the co-founders of Crypto Museum, established with Paul Reuvers in 2008 as a virtual museum of cryptologic history. In 2001, he and Paul started work on the now famous Enigma-E, a simulator completely compatible with the war-time Enigma machine which they introduced at the Bletchley Park Reunion in 2003. As his day job, Marc founded his company YiG Engineering BV in 2000 and specializes in the development of electronic circuits for a variety of applications ranging from the Senseo coffee machine to state-of-the-art FPGA designs, for companies such as Philips and Xilinx.
